We recently had the privilege of producing a short documentary celebrating the 100th anniversary of Cansew Inc., a family-run, Montreal-based thread manufacturer that has been Canadian-owned for a century. Over several days of filming, we explored the company's remarkable journey—through changing industries, economic uncertainty, and four generations of family leadership.

Rather than creating a traditional corporate video, our goal was to tell a human story. We wanted to capture the people, values, and resilience behind a business that has quietly become part of Canada's manufacturing history.
